TNY286DG is an energy-saving off-line switching power supply chip with line compensation overload power supply in the SOP-7 package.

• Accurate hysteretic thermal shutdown protection with auto-recovery without a manual reset

• Auto-restart provides <3% of maximum power under short-circuit and open-loop fault conditions

• Output overvoltage shutdown with the optional Zener diode

• Fast AC reset with optional UV external resistor

• Low component count improves reliability and supports single-sided PCB layout

• High bandwidth provides fast turn-on without overshoot and excellent transient load response

• Extended creepage distance between the drain and all other pins for improved field reliability

• No load <30 mW with bias winding, <150 mW at 265 VAC without bias winding
